I hope you are impressed that I can be bilingual? Bempton Cliffs on the Yorkshire coast is home to thousands of gannets. I would say you can’t move for them, but as they spend most of their time on the seaward side of a very tall steep cliff that is highly unlikely. Suffice to say, you can’t miss them. This is the classic pose of a mating pair making it known they are interested. Ornithology lesson over.
Maybe less controversial than the last post. Watching the gannets makes such a brilliant way to pass the time. Bempton Cliffs on the east coast of England is a prime location for numerous birds, but the gannets are definitely the best performers.

RSPB Bempton Cliffs on the Yorkshire coast is home to thousands of seabirds. The gannets are possibly the most accessible and the closest ones to photograph, though I have seen photographs of owls taken at Bempton. This one really fely like they were trying to put us under the influence.
