Photography has been a hobby for a long time, and retirement has allowed me to spend more time taking photographs. As you can tell from my posts, and from the images on sale in the Gallery, I have not really developed a style, or a preferred genre. If I like it I snap it.
Haiku works for me because it is not too long, it is structured and constrained in format, and it doesn’t have to rhyme. So I think I can manage to keep focus long enough to write a few.
If you are interested in the equipment, all photos are taken with either an Olympus EM1 Mk2 or an OM-1. I love the micro four thirds format, and contrary to some uninformed opinions the quality easily supports printing to A2 and beyond to gallery standards
I do have some images in a local gallery in Nottingham, and these have been added on a separate page.
